To use EBT at Costco, here are a few easy steps to remember:

1. When it’s time to pay, swipe your EBT card in the point of sale machine
2. You will then have to enter your PIN
3. If you do not have enough money in your EBT account to cover SNAP-eligible items, the machine will then ask if you want to use
   a credit/debit card or cash to pay for the rest of the items.
4. Also, if you have non-SNAP eligible items in your cart, you will be able to use a credit/debit card or cash to pay for them.
5. In some cases, you will be asked to show a photo ID to confirm you are the cardholder.
